Rising Above Nature
The radio announcer quoted Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, saying: "those who want to rise above nature will fall below it". Obviously he was referring to those who tempt fate and challenge to push nature beyond its natural boundaries.
The thought that immediately came to me was a similar phrase: "those who rise up to their nature will raise nature to their level".
Yes, life is not about challenging nature, but about finding and aligning with one’s own nature. How else can we contribute to life other than through finding out who we truly are, and living as our true self?
And if we do this, we will never fall below nature, because wherever we are, is our nature. And when we find our final resting place, we will rest in peace – naturally!
