Wishes

There's a theory that discloses
Man proposes, God disposes.
Even from the time of Moses
Winter never brought forth roses;
If against God's will man proposes
Upon man's wish, God door closes.

Primordial Blast

A long time ago in the past
Amidst emptiness, the Void, vast
There was a primordial blast
Hurtling gases, outward cast
Dizzying speeds, expanding fast
Nobody thought this could last.

Clouds regrouped around dust
Gravity said this they must
Stars were born, stars bust
Creating motion, cosmic gust
In a cosmic dance of lust
Based upon an orderly trust.

Today through the cosmic mist
Numerous stars we can list
Coming, going, or persist
Linger a while and exist.
With tooth or claw, knuckle, fist
Cosmic Law none can resist.

Felicity

I used to think that nature's diversity
Was the result of a monumental complexity
I idolized complicated scientific descriptions
As though reading some divine inscriptions
That nature was complex there was no doubt
Those who thought otherwise we could do without
Even Einstein's search for God was through the glory
Of deriving a Unified Field Theory
Then we would know how nature was and is
Understand this complexity, though with unease.

But then I understood the teaching of old wisdom
Masters of the past describing God's kingdom
I understood how it is all consciousness and flow
Rhythms, cycles, polarity and vibration I now know
Intelligence, affection, love and beauty
Humor, discipline, justice, temperance my duty
Now I see it is pure simplicity
That brings me so much felicity.

Honey Bee

Life is much like a honeybee
Working so hard, flying so free
Tasting smooth and sweet honey
Life is joyous, even funny;
Out of nowhere comes a painful sting
Can deeply wound and much pain bring.

Life is a bee, honey and sting
Bittersweet, then taking wing.

Consciousness in Flow

Put your consciousness in flow
And then you’ll brightly glow
The whole world will thus grow
And thyself you’ll get to know.
If you must know before you flow
You will reverse the path you go.
The more you flow, the more you glow
The more you glow, the more you grow
The more you grow, the more you know
The more you know, the less you show.
